Is it wrong not 2 luv someone but they luv you?

i had a boi-friend name orande and we went together for about 2 months. we became attracted to each other emotional. he told me he loved me but i couldn't say it back right then. so at times he wanted to be phsical but i couldn't. so he felt that i didn't like and his friends tried to push me to do things i didn't want to! so he broke up wi th me was it my fault?
