When did you start to replacing feed/formula feedings with solids for your baby?

He can eat anything you can eat! :) Toast is good, yes. Try letting him feed himself chunks of cheese, pasta, sticky rice (great finger food as it does stick together! LOL), steamed veggies like broccoli (a "tree" is easy to hold onto), chunks of raw fruits like bananas, peaches, avocado, etc. At that age my daughter also was enjoying pieces of chicken and steak. Just offer him anything to vary his diet and allow his palate to broaden. Have fun, and remember that babies do mash food with their gums and do not truly "chew" until their molars come in later. :)
