Do you cross reins with a pelham bit?

I am pretty sure you do. Its been years since i have used one. :P My horse is getting really nosey with any bit i put in, and i put a low port bit in today and she was so much better, so im going to ride a couple days a week with a pelham for a while, but i gotta do it right ;)
