Why is it that the core samples, tree rings & hockey sticks, just aren't enough evidence of global "stuff"?

When the x=y and Copernican theory's are coincided with the max gravitational pull theory, coupled with the OMG polar bears are dying theorem. Why don't people believe that global warming will kill us all?
